In 2006, Dr. Philip Young embarked on his first mission with the organization, traveling to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for 10 days. Throughout his time in Asia, he conducted multiple surgeries and gave several lectures for doctors and students at the Ho Chi Minh City University Medical Center. Two years later, Dr. Young participated in another medical journey with Face to Face when he traveled to Linyi, Shandong Province, China. Triple board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, the American Board of Laser Surgery, and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Philip Young graduated cum laude from the University of Washington, earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology.
