Mark Unger is a member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada, with a designated Special Competence in Emergency Medicine. His clinical interests include emergency medicine and care of the elderly. In addition, he has a private practice dedicated to hair transplantation surgery, and is co-editor of Hair Transplantation, the reference textbook in the field.Outside of clinical practice, Mark has a strong interest in leveraging health information technology to improve clinical work, patient care, health outcomes, and system knowledge. He is currently working on the development of a medical technology platform for use in primary care settings. He has an appointment as Lecturer with the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto and is active in undergraduate and postgraduate education.
