Dr. Rose has over 20 years of experience in hair restoration surgery and is a recognized leader in the field. He is recognized internationally for achieving natural results.He has lectured widely and written numerous articles on hair restoration surgery as well as medical therapies for hair loss in men and women. Dr Rose has participated in clinical and basic science hair research and continues to do so. He is Past President and Board Member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Hair Foundation as well as the Ad Hoc Committee on FUE Issues.Dr. Rose won the prestigious ISHRS Golden Follicle Award in 2008 and, in 2002 was the recipient of the Michelangelo Award from the internationally recognized Italian Society of Hair Restoration. He is one of the creators of the Follicular Isolation Technique, “FIT” where individual hair follicular units are removed from the donor area without a linear incision and he also developed the “ledge” trichophytic closure technique which minimizes donor scars by directing hair to grow through the line where the donor strip was taken.Dr. Rose received his M.D. degree from the State University of New York and completed his dermatology residency at Temple University Skin and Cancer in Philadelphia. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. While in private practice in Tampa, Dr. Rose served on the Clinical Faculty of the Department of Dermatology at the University of South Florida School of Medicine.
