  • What are the risks associated with having a non-doctor perform a hair transplant surgery?
  • It is essential to have your hair transplant performed by trained Doctors and nurses teams, and this ensures that your health problem is being cared for by professionals certified to do it. The doctor is always the team leader and is responsible for the hair transplant, aided by licensed nurses.

Although seeming a simple procedure, a hair transplant is a complex one and should follow the legislation related to it.

From simple infections to severe problems, being them aesthetic (the way the transplant looks) or severe complications, you should assure that you're being cared for by certified doctors and nurse assistants, so you're sure they will do everything to avoid complications, and if there is any, it will be supervised as it should be and with clinical responsibility and accountability.
  • What are the factors behind a successful operation?
  • Apart from the patient's specific condition – type and grade of alopecia, donor area, type of hair, etc. – the expertise of the medical team is of significant importance. This comes with certified training and the number of surgeries performed. The up-to-date technology, as well as training, is quintessential for the perfect result.
  • How permanent are the results? Could the patient need a second procedure after a while?
  • When addressing Androgenic Alopecia, the results are expected to be permanent. Depending on the grade of the alopecia, its evolution, and the density of the donor area, it may need more than one procedure, being it part of the initial plan or adapted to the development of the AGA.
  • Which patient profile is the right fit for the operation?
  • A patient with AGA and a good donor area.
  • How should a patient choose the right doctor and the clinic?
  • From his and his team's experience, verified reviews, etc.
  • Can you talk a bit about your experience in the field?
  • I have more than ten years of experience in the field, both in clinical and R&D areas. As Chief Clinical Officer of the Insparya Group, I'm responsible for both technological and biomedical (stem-cell investigation) branches of our Insparya Science and Clinical Institute.
