I have 15 years experience working within the hair replacement industry, starting off in wig making I ventured into hair extensions and then found myself working for a Trichologist in Cairo where I designed many hair replacement systems for women and men suffering with hair loss.Upon my return to the UK I worked for Lucinda Ellery consultancy in London, again involving hair loss and hair replacement systems. Soon after I opened The Hair Confidante, A specialist salon for women and men affected by hair loss, Currently I have a range of hair extension methods I work with and an impressive 7 different methods of hair replacement systems designed to help disguise hair loss. I have also put together a range of hair and scalp treatments designed to exfoliate and re-hydrate the scalp allowing a better growth environment for hair follicles to produce.I have also expanded into teaching other professionals the skill involved in hair replacement, and we currently run 4-5 day courses in hair replacement designed as a higher step for professionals already qualified in hair extensions/wigmaking and a minimum of level 2 in hairdressing. my trainees are invited back to shadow me in the salon to help build their confidence before taking on clients of their own. Through this I have created a network of people I have trained all over the UK and USA allowing clients who cannot travel to me for maintenance a place for them to go knowing the person has received the best possible training.
